Help Those Impacted By Hurricane Helene

There are many groups and organizations working to assist people in the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Helene. If you are making a donation of any kind, please be sure to do it through a reputable organization. Here are some ways you can help:

One large scale cash donation opportunity is through Harris Teeter. They are doing a Round Up campaign to support disaster relief efforts for communities impacted by Hurricane Helene. Through October 28th, all stores will be inviting customers to round up their purchase to the nearest whole dollar at checkout to benefit the American Red Cross. 100% of funds donated will go directly to the Red Cross, to assist in their efforts to provide relief and resources to those in need

Donations made to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund will go to nonprofits working to provide necessities such as food and water, cleaning supplies and other emergency supplies to those in need. United Way of North Carolina is the fiscal agent for the Fund and will provide grants and reimbursement to nonprofits working in impacted communities.  Click here to donate directly.
